The latest from Angel's Cup(CoffeeHunter16441) is complex, with a smell that is very pleasant in bag and cup. The coffee, from Joe Bean Roastery, is called Brix Breaker and has some pretty interesting fruit flavors, as well as some hard to pin down (savory?) notes. The brew has prominent juicy notes of cherry, heavy citrus, and some sort of berry. Everything is rounded out with pastry or graham cracker notes. While on the other end, the cup has some peculiar notes of a darker smoked cedar with hints of herb and mint. The odd savory flavors really serve to complement the juicy sweet fruit notes. I really enjoyed this one and it gets about an 8.5/10 on the Newfangled scale.
